Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is recovering fast for his rib injury. His scheduled boxing bout with Juan Manual Marquez, previously scheduled for July 18th, was moved for September 19th at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. The pay per view price is $49.95.
While not yet fighting nor training, Pacquiao looms large over this fight since he is waiting for the winner – if he beats Cotto on November 14, 2009.??Mayweather vs. Marquez is a big boxing match. There were however speculations of poor ticket sales for the original July 18th. But Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaeffer refuted this rumor. However the poor economy in general may have had some consequence on the original postponement of the July date.
