Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer told Boxing Scene today that he thinks Mayweather should get the lion’s share of the money in any eventual fight with the winner of the Manny Pacquiao/Miguel Cotto fight on November 14.
But he did add a caveat to that statement. If Pacquiao vs. Cotto does a million PPV buys or above, then he believes there is reason to consider a 50-50 split.read more from source

Im a pro boxer as well and I totally agree with richard shaefer. Floyd should get the bulk of the money. Not 2 take anything away from manny, I believe manny is a great fighter but manny just became number 1, Floyd Mayweather jr BEEN on top and retired on top. Floyd has da better record, more championships, he is da reigning king of boxing. If Floyd didnt retire, manny wouldnt have had room 2 shine, So manny owes floyd lol. Floyd is the man 2 beat…not manny. So thatz my view, But look out for me…Super Justin Blackwell in da future.
Super JB,
I’m not fully agree with you because, we all do have a mouth and opinions but the reason why he retired is that all this years, that he is been involve in the ring, the fans are the spectator, they come to the show and pay big bucks to see a chicken fight from the start to finish not fighting like a maricon fight, not only that he retired because he is been dodging the bullets, all his opponents that lining up, a true fighter is the one who does not pick who he wants to fight and don’t retired till you know that it’s time for you to hang up the gloves, I heard rumors that he will be fighting an undefeated 19 years old from the block, I’m not saying that’s wrong but after him and Marquez fought,Shane Mosley want to fight him, then why all of a sudden he will fight this kid, what’s wrong with that? is that a legit fight? back to the retirement, saying I accomplished everything and it’s time for me not to make any excuses and I take it as a man and this is what I decided to do, I enjoy the sports now it’s time for me to leave and commit another chapter of my life to enjoy something apart from boxing.
